Job Title: Strategic Financial Analyst

Rate of Pay: $150,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Due Diligence: Analyze financial statements of potential acquisition targets, identifying key trends, risks, and adjusting for anomalies to assess profitability and future projections.
  • Fluctuation Analysis: Monitor changes in financial performance through detailed analysis of cash flow, expenses, product margins, and headcount, using financial ratios and trend assessments.
  • Valuation Modeling: Build and maintain financial models such as DCF/LBO and Comps to forecast future performance, estimate cash flow, and evaluate the value of acquisition targets.
  • Market Research: Conduct industry and competitor analysis to identify market trends, growth opportunities, and assess the company’s market position against competitors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Statistics, or related field.
  • 18 months of work experience as Strategic Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, Diligence Analyst, or related position. The job requires 18 months of work experience, including: 18 months conducting financial due diligence analysis, and at least 6 months of experience as an investment analyst in building M&A valuation models such as DCF and LBO.
  • Advanced proficiency with Pitchbook, CapitalIQ, ThinkCell, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Once every month for 3-4 days per trip within the U.S. on a needed basis.
